First, read this argument:

Human genetic enhancement is seriously problematic! First of all, it isn’t safe. By genetically enhancing people, we risk harming them through unintended side effects. Furthermore, human enhancement promotes unfairness. Enhancements are probably going to be expensive and thus only the rich will likely have access to them. Consequently, the rich will have even greater advantages over the poor in the competition for jobs. Finally, human enhancement meddles with the natural order. This meddling involves playing God.
